Fundamentals of back bends
For most of us back bends are physically and emotionally challenging, they are counteracting all our everyday activities such as driving, texting, sitting everyday at the computer or bending to pick up things. Regular  safe back bend practice can help us increase lung capacity, prevent arthritis, alleviate depression, build stamina and improve circulation, digestion and immune function.
In this all level workshop you will learn safe and proper alignment and variations for the fundamental back bend postures in yoga which help us to improve spinal flexibility, open the front of the body and strengthen the back body as well as explore and touch base of anatomy of chest, upper back, shoulders and hips.  We will conclude this workshop with an exploration of strength and endurance for the wheel pose and cool down with gentle forward folds and twisting poses.
