Introduction to the Mysore Method

Join Mollie Wisner as she introduces the Mysore Method of practice.
These workshops are for those ready to take ownership over their practice; those who are interested in a traditional Ashtanga Yoga practice or even those who are just beginning their Yoga Journey.
The Mysore style of yoga asana (physical poses) practice is the way of teaching modern yoga within the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga tradition as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in the south Indian city of Mysore.
This method differs from the way Yoga is normally taught at our studio:
The class is not "led" as a whole, but rather all instruction is one-on-one within the group class setting. Students practice their own portion of the Ashtanga sequence of asanas ( physical poses) at their own pace.The teacher assists each student individually by giving physical adjustments & verbal instruction. Mollie will keep you safe, properly aligned for your body and help you realize your potential in each posture.
Because the Mysore classes are not "led" these workshops will give you valuable knowledge you can take with you into your practice and into your everyday life

Inversion Workshops with Oksana Aston

Get upside down and change your view!
This pair of workshops led by Oksana are designed to help you take the next step in your inversion practice. Inversions have so many benefits, including:
*Building upper body strength
*Building confidence in your practice
Oksana will lead you through a warm up, touch on some light anatomy and give you options and tools to find your optimal alignment. Attending dedicated workshops will give you insight into your practice that you can take with you into the future. Oksana is a RYT 500 with an amphasis in Ashtanga; let Oksana share her knowledge and know-how with you to change your perspective!
Headstand: April 7 10:30 am
Are you ready to take the next step in inversions?
Oksana will guide you into your inversion practice with an emphasis on safety, anatomy and technique. This workshop will give you the tools to find a safe and stable headstand practice.

Every Friday Morning
Ages 2-5 are welcome into our first offering of our new kid's yoga program! This fun and purposeful yoga class will give kids and their caregivers a chance to move and play with purpose. Kris, our instructor, will ulitize song, stories and other sensory toys to give kids a chance to experience their own bodies while growing their minds.
4 Week Program- $36
Price can be pro-rated for later start dates. One time drop-ins are welcome to see what the program is about $10 drop-in. But this is an enrollment program as it helps create a sense of routine for the children and allows us to make sure we have enough materials on hand.
