Class Descriptions
Basics Yoga (Level: gentle,  1)- Interested in beginning a yoga practice to bring strength, flexibility and peace into your life?  Start in this flow class designed to introduce students to the essence of Flow Yoga and the common postures and techniques.  

 Flow For All (Level 1,2,3)- This is an easy paced flow class that is open for all levels to breathe and practice together.  We begin with a basic flow foundation and deeper variations are offered when available. Students are given time to explore the edges of their own postures in a safe and supportive environment.

Ashtanga Short Form (Level 2)- Abridged versions of the Ashtanga Primary Series (sequences). A set sequence of postures that gives the practioner a chance to move through their yoga at a steady pace and see specific improvements over time.

Serenity Yoga (gentle)- A very gentle yoga class that helps to release any stress from the week and ease you into the weekend. Move through a gentle arrangement of floor postures (on the ground) partnered with deep mindful breathing, to loosen tension, stiffness and stress from the body. End the class with optional sustained postures (restorative yoga) supported by bolsters and blankets.

Sunrise: Yoga & Meditation (Level: gentle, 1)- A gentle yoga class designed to ease your body and mind into the day.  This class uses traditional yoga postures and gentle movement to stimulate circulation allowing you to move more comfortably throughout the rest of your day.  Class finishes with a 10 minute meditation allowing you the opportunity to start the day with mental clarity.

Mysore Method ( Level 1,2,3)**- The Mysore style of yoga asana (physical poses) practice is the way of teaching modern yoga within the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga tradition as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in the south Indian city of Mysore. 
This method differs from the way Yoga is normally taught at our studio:
The class is not "led" as a whole, but rather all instruction is one-on-one within the group class setting. Students practice their own portion of the Ashtanga sequence of asanas ( physical poses) at their own pace.The teacher assists each student individually by giving physical adjustments & verbal instruction. Your instructor will keep you safe, properly aligned for your body and help you realize your potential in each posture. This practice is open to all students looking to deepen and take ownership of their their practice.

**Please note: Pre-Registration is required by 10 pm the night before in the MindBody app. 

This class observes Moon days. ( New and FullMoon days). No Mysore classes will be held on those days.
