Class Descriptions
Basics Yoga (Level: gentle,  1)- Interested in beginning a yoga practice to bring strength, flexibility and peace into your life?  Start in this flow class designed to introduce students to the essence of Flow Yoga and the common postures and techniques.  

Flow For All (Level 1,2,3)-  This is an easy paced flow class that is open for all levels to breathe and practice together.  We begin with a basic flow foundation and deeper variations are offered when available. Students are given time to explore the edges of their own postures in a safe and supportive environment.

Introduction to Ashtanga (Level 1,2)- Abridged versions of the Ashtanga Primary Series (sequences).  Students will learn the basic postures of the practice and can continue to take part in this guided class or use the class as a stepping stone to the Open-Practice (Mysore) class.

Open Practice (Mysore) Levels 1,2,3- Doors are open during this two hour window for students to come in and practice their version of the Ashtanga primary or Second series at their own pace.  Students must arrive within the first hour of the window and can leave any time they are done up to the end of the practice period.  Students are encouraged to have their own practice plan developed before attending, please attend Introduction to Ashtanga if you need to develop a familiarity with the sequence.  There will be a teacher present to observe your practice and offer adjustments, answer questions, and help students learn new postures in the sequence when they are ready for them.

Sunrise: Yoga & Meditation (Level: gentle, 1)- A gentle yoga class designed to ease your body and mind into the day.  This class uses traditional yoga postures and gentle movement to stimulate circulation allowing you to move more comfortably throughout the rest of your day.  Class finishes with a 10 minute meditation allowing you the opportunity to start the day with mental clarity.
